With growing health awareness and a desire to eat better, combined with increased time demands on individuals and families, our goal is to provide a better alternative to “eating on the run”. Dam Good Café offers those in the community a time conscious, healthy meal on their schedule – and it is easy on their wallet as well.
About the Owners: Shane, and Staci Dam
Shane began his restaurant career while in college pursuing his degree. After earning his business degree from Western Connecticut State University, Shane quickly began advancing in restaurant management. Shane has been Executive Chef and Kitchen Manager for two multi-million dollar restaurants and won numerous awards while in his position. Shane always dreamed of owning his own restaurant, so with his love for culinary, the increased demands on his growing family and the desire to provide healthier food for his family and community, the Dam Good Café was born. Shane’s commitment to healthy lifestyle, the restaurant industry and his family fuel his passion to offer a better way of eating and eating out.
Staci began her journey in the restaurant industry while attending the University of Delaware. While pursuing her degree in sociology and criminal justice, Staci bartended and waitressed. This is where Staci learned the fundamentals of customer service and traveled as a corporate trainer teaching her excellent customer service skills and expectations. Since starting her family, Staci has met many of you in the community, whether serving you at local establishments or through her volunteer work throughout the community. Her desire for excellence and commitment to healthy, happy families make Staci a rare find in the service industry.
